Audiologists primarily deal with hearing loss and disorders that affect our balance. With comprehensive knowledge of auditory and vestibular systems, audiologists can help with a number of different problems. Audiologists are, for all intents and purposes, hearing doctors, unlike otolaryngologists who are more of an ear doctor.

What is the vestibular system? Forming part of the inner ear, the vestibular system provides sensory information that contributes to balance and orientation.
